Is Your Property
Accessible to Liberty Hill
Firefighters?

Fire trucks need a 10-foot-wide by 13.6-foot-high clearance to access your property. A smaller entrance means longer delays; and in case of fire or a medical emergency, any delay can mean the difference between life and death.

Safety Education

Mrs. Mace and Mrs. Lankford's classes honored Liberty Hill Fire Department with this quilt made of paper squares.

Liberty Hill firefighters are on a mission to keep children safe. Regularly, they visit area schools where they teach children how to safely escape from a fire. During Fire Prevention Week, firefighters take the Smokehouse to local schools where children experience for themselves what it's like when a house becomes engulfed in smoke. They learn how to safely escape by dropping to the floor and crawling under the smoke to the nearest exit.

Children also enjoy seeing the Liberty Hill fire trucks and talking with fire officers about their jobs.
